Some more new Rubbah play...

I've had these little guys for a while but I've only used them one other time and for now I can't share that one with you but soon... Today I decided to play with them on one of my favorite types of cards... one layer...

These darling little guys are from All That Scraps stamp line. When I saw these two I just couldn't help but make them both into lions... And what better way than to color them with my copics...
I stamped them on a Fabriano Medioevalis card with my adirondack Espresso inkpad. I then colored them with my copics. I just love the look of them together... I really want to share my first project with you but that is going to have to wait alittle bit but soon... Here are the copics I used with this card..

Well I'm off waiting for my ups delivery and my mail.. Maybe I'll have some new stuff to play with today. I will have my new SU catty order sometime next week and can't wait to play with it...have a great day....

Happy New Years EVE....

And a card of course... I'm trying to get back to crafting again... I have missed it so much the last few weeks. Christmas and everything has put me in a funk... I think I may be out of it now. I decided to make a valentines card the first of a few...

I had to break out my cuttlebug and the new folders I bought with one of my gift cards I got to Micheals. I grabbed one of my little heart folders and embossed it across my papertrey ink stampers select white cardstock. I then took my real red ink pad and brushed it across the card... alittle distress doesn't hurt much...

I then took my penguins from my little bit kit and stamp them on a whisper white piece of scrap cardstock... I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up and then to stamp the heart between them. I knew it need a sentiment and I happened to have my new SU rubons and they had the perfect set of words for this card... Well I'm off to see if I can get some more work done before too late... have a great evening and enjoy ringing in the new year latter...

SC155 and CC Designs...

I got this new stamp set I've been dying to find the perfect card for and decided to check out this weeks Sketch Challenge over on SCS...

After seeing this sketch I just new my stamps would fit perfectly... I got these from All That Scraps. They are designed by the owner of the store and are so cute. It is the C.C. Designs Little Penguins little bit kits. Here is my card to match the sketch...

I also noticed that the dirty girls from SCS past and present have been posting a challenge over there where they challenged each other to use penguin stamps and no blue on their cards. I decided to try this as well. I always think of blues with penguins but tried very hard to change it so I used purples and greens...
I used a combination of my copics and prismacolor pencils again. I also grabbed one of my figgy pudding pads from basic grey and used the green snowflake paper out of it. I know just the right person to send this too... seems I forgot one person for my Christmas cards this year...
These are the color copics I used to color my penguins in with...

Hope everyone is having a great day... I am off to take my oldest to another Orthodontist appointment... we're getting ready to start treatment for braces on him... Oh and I've finally finished my Christmas shopping at least for now...
