Wishing from the Moon...

I wasn't all that happy with my challenge card yesterday so I broke out another new stamp by Rubbernecker and tried one more time late last night so this will be the card for today.....

Again you can find all the challenge info over on Jeanne Blog here. You can also find the stamp I used on this card here. This group of stamps are so adorable....

I colored my card in with my copics again and to make more tiny stars I broke out my white gel pen... I wish I could have gotten a better shot because the little girls wings, the moon and the clouds all have iridescent ice ep on them and they really sparkle. I also took and stamped my image twice to give this card dimension... I have been playing alot with dimension lately.. I cut out the ribbon sentiment and the little girl, the moon and the clouds; and put them all on dimensional. This card was fun I did go away from the challenge a bit by adding some yellow to it but I think it is a fun card... Have a great day I'm off to spend it with my DH... He came home last night as a surprise... He's been gone for the last 5 days.

Supplies:
Stamps: rubbernecker wish postcard
Cardstock: brilliant blue, papertrey select white
ink: adirondack slate
Accessories: copics, fiskars fingertip craft knife, glass mat, fiskars corner scissors regal, iridecent ice ep, versa marker

Back and with a Rubbernecker Challenge....

Yup I'm back and I think I maybe blogging more regular... just depends on how many more times I have to run after a German Shepard.... back on that topic in a few but on with the card.

Today's challenge can be found over on Jeanne's Blog here. Yes I've been feeling a little blue... hopeful the sun in the next few days will cheer me up. I love both the sentiment and the butterfly. These are some of my latest images I got from Rubbernecker. They can be found here and here.

I decided that the butterfly need some dimension so I stamp it twice, colored it twice, embossed it twice and then cut them out and popped one wing up with a dimensional. The butterfly is colored with my copics and the sentiment is cut with my new mega nestablities die... I also embossed the card with my new mega nestablities die. I made my own background with some bubble wrap.

Hope everyone is having a great day... now on to the story of running after a German Shepard. Our family has the sweetest dog the only issue is she likes to jump. She is a 3year old full blooded German Shepard. We have most of our yard fenced in with privacy fence 6ft tall. Needless to say she jumped it today and my neighbor came knocking to let me know she was on the run... We live out in the country too... big open field next to us. She ran to the woods... I took off in no shoes yelling. She did come back but not before running so far. She came back winded. I am beginning to wonder what to do with her... we love her to death but she runs us. Our other dog is no problem stays in the yard no problem...
These are my puppies... not a good pic will have to try tomorrow if it is nice outside... otherwise will get one her in the house... Have a great night.

Rubbernecker blogger Challenge...

Not real happy but I may play with this color challenge a little more... The challenge was to use brown, teal and green. Not a combo I use alot but gives me a summer feel. And the Rubbernecker image I chose to use with it was the Stamp Oasis fantasy stamp with the girl swimming with the dolphin.

One day I hope to get a chance to swim with some dolphins... I've heard it is fun..

I of course colored the image in with copics and stamped it three times with adirondack slate ink. Stamping it three times gives me the three images I need to complete my main image. I again used my Fiskars finger tip craft knife to cut the image out... gotta love the knife..

I popped up the little girl and the little green fish to help give this card a little somethin... I hope you all are havin a great Monday..

Don't forget you still have a chance at my blog candy til wednesday afternoon on
this post.

I sewed....I can't believe it...

I can't believe I sewed on my first card... And no this is not the only reason I got the sewing machine but it is a perk...

What do think of my little hippos...
I've had these guys for a while from Rubbernecker. And I thought today they would fit this card perfectly. I colored them with copics of course and used my nestablitlies dies to cut them out and frame them. I knew the sentiment was perfect for this card and it is one of the Salebration sets you can earn for free this month and part of next month.

I grabbed my glittered flowers that May had sent me from fiskars and added them along with a cloud9 chipboard sticker and of course I sewed the two pieces of Berry Bliss papers together and onto the cardbase... well I'm off to clean and then maybe break my cricut out to figure it out... Anyone got any pointers on using it.... have a great afternoon.

Supplies:
Stamps: Hippo Hearts, lots of thoughts SAB, pretty petals
Ink: adirondack slate, purely pomegrante
Cardstocks: papertrey stampers select white, very vanilla, purely pomegrante, berry bliss
Accessories: sewing machine, glittered flowers, cloud9 chipboard stickers, nestablitities, copic markers

Easter Wishes..

I'm not feeling too well today seems the bug has hit me but I've had this image all colored for a couple of days and wanted to get a card made with it to show you... This little guy is so cute.

The litle bunny angel is from Rubbernecker's Stamp Oasis Fantasy collection. I don't think there is a stamp in that collection that isn't on my wishlist. This is another image I took with me to my son's dental appointment last week and colored while I waited. Today I finished it...
I colored the little bunny with my copics and copic spica glitter pens... my camera doesn't want to pick up those beautiful sparkles. I didn't like my little guy floating on the cardstock so I took my micron pen and drew in some grass. I also didn't like a white sky so much so I took one of my stipple brushes out with some soft sky ink and bounced around the little guy.

Igrabbed my basic grey two scoops pad and found just the right dp to add to the card too. My sentiment is from papertrey's last release many massages... Well I have one more card in my head that I'm going to try before I head back to my bed... ugh I hate being sick.

Supplies:
Stamps: Rubbernecker's bunny Angel, Papertrey Inc's Mixed Messages
Cardstock: Basic grey two scoops 6x6 pad, papertrey inc stampers select white, basic grey
Ink: soft sky, adirondack espresso ink, blue bayou
Accessories: grosgrain white ribbon, copic markers, copic spica pens

Friends to the End...

I thought this fit the image I used on todays card...

I got this image from RubberNecker yesterday. I played in their Teasure hunt on Tuesday and had to order something to get the prize. This is one of the images I had to have... I think the little girl is just adorable. The girl reminds me of my daughter and how much she loves the water. Well let me get back to the card...

I colored the image in with my copics of course... using my blender pen to blend and create the shading on the image... I love how these copics blend so easy. I added some sparkle to the image with my copic spica gold and clear pens... My little yellow fish has some sparkle in his stripes and the little girl has some sparkle in her hair... And I could not leave out some sparkle to the bubbles in the water.

After putting this card together I wanted some more bling so I grabbed my Amuse twinkle mini dots and added a few to some of the bubbles and of course one to my sentiment. I am sending this off to a friend tomorrow and hope she enjoys it once it gets into her hands... Well I am off to take care of two sick little ones, yup my two youngest decided to get sick yesterday so I get to stay home from church with them today... Have a great Sunday and enjoy the Super Bowl tonight....

Supplies:
Stamps: Dolphin Dive, Mixed Messages from Papertrey Inc
Ink: Adirondack slate ink
Cardstock: papertrey stampers select white, old olive, basic grey two scoops dp
Accessories: Copic markers, amuse twinkle micro dots stickers, copic spica pen gold and clear

See I'm back...

See I'm back but not one but two cards... I used Debbie Olsen's sketch from yesterday to come up with these two beauties... You can find here sketch here on her blog. She has another one I'll try latter on her blog today.

These are such adorable images. These stamps are some I got from Rubbernecker yesterday. And while I was in the waiting room at the dentist yesterday I had a few images with me and my copics...

For this one I left the orientation the same as her sketch. This couple is so cute... It is called First Love and I think it is perfect for a valentine card. I grabbed my Stampin Up rubbons and found a great sentiment to use on the front.

Supplies for this card:
Stamps: First Love from Rubbernecker, retired soft swirls background
Ink: Adirondack espresso ink, regal rose classic ink
cardstock: stampers select white, basic grey, regal rose, retired rebecca papers dp
Accessories: taffeta ribbon, eastern elegance rubons, copic spica gold pen, copic markers, oval nestablities

Now for the other card...

This is another Rubbernecker image called Princely Friends. This is another of the three images I colored while waiting... I love the little frog sitting on the back of the Unicorn. This one I went with a blue green theme and not really happy how the white rubon doesn't show as well as the other card... should have used a black one but the word dream goes well with this image....

Supplies for this one:
Stamps: Princely friends by rubbernecker, retired soft swirls
ink: Adirondack espresso ink, tempting turquoise
cardstock: soft sky, stampers select white, basic grey, basic grey two scoops dp
Accessories: copic markers, copic spica gold pen, taffeta ribbon, eastern elegance rubons

Sorry about some of the pictures. We are having a yucky day and the suns isn't being nice for me today.... Well I'm off but I want to thank Broni for giving me such a great blog candy last week and introducing me to yet another stamp company that has such adorable images....
