Tonight I designed a card and love the out come... I believe Michelle Laycock came up with the technique on her blog with paper piercing called Pergamano. I did not do it exacted but I do like what came out....
I used cardstock vellum, brushed silver, and shimmery white. I stamped Stampin up's retired set Elegant Eggs on the vellum with black stazon. I color the images on the back with Stampin Up markers. i then took a needle and punched out the voids in the image... do give you a closer look at the effect this gives here is a close up shot...
I then mounted it on brushed silver and used some stickles to give it a little sparkle. It so makes me think of spring and easter. I used the sentiments from season by season and another retired set Small script all Stampin Up sets. I then took a piece of organdy ribbon and a charm I got from micheals the other day.....Forgot to mention I used my signo white gel pen to get the stark white color on the egg.
I wish they had never retired these eggs ...
