Long awaited review....

I got to play with my new cutter today. I decided to try out a color combination from my SU planner and also used one of the card sketches from it as well. The color combination I used was Cameo Coral, gable green, orchid opulence and I used whisper white for Confetti white... really need to add some to my next order.

This si the purple cows 2in 1 trimmer I won from Diva Craft Lounge about a month ago ... remember this post. Well today I had time to play with the guillotine part of it.. this trimmer can be stored with both parts together or apart.

I love the guillotine. It cut my paper like butter and the blade is a safety blade... meaning it has no sharp edges and for a house like mine with three kids of my own and my sisters two who visit often this is a major plus. I was able to cut through 4 sheets of SU cardstock with putting a little heavier pressure than with 3 or less but I was still able to pull of straight cuts.

It has similar marks like my fiskars for quick cuts. I used them to help with my card I made today. I think this cutter is great step up from my fiskars but I still will have my fiskars to take with me on workshops or trips... just easier for portability. Here is the card I came up with today...

Supplies used:
Gable green, Orchid Opulence, and whisper white cardstock; Basic black classic ink and Cameo Coral classic ink; ribbon; stickles; hostess stamp set from SU catty Blooming with Happiness

Adding in a plug for a fellow blogger... Dawn she has some awesome craft jewelry she is selling...
I had to get some for my craft and rubber scissors.

Well off to see what else I can make for another post tomorrow hopefully... Happy Stampin everyone.

Hey! I won one of these too! So cool. Oh and you will have a blast at regionals. Start making those swaps.
