Romancin' the Rubber....

This is one of my first Divas from Rubber Romance. And I've had her for over a week and had yet to ink her up... But before I get to the card I was on the phone with a friend and she said you haven't blogged in a few days... sorry ... I've neglected everyone but my DH left for a month or so and I've been down in the dumps a little. But guess what I did today besides stamp... I move my little craft area out of the dark office and into our front room. This had been the plan the last month or so and seems DH has been too busy to get the move done and today I just could not put it off any more. I still have some stuff to move but I also have a few swaps to get done.... Now back to the Romancin'....

This stamp is so pretty and it is kind of special for me since in a few more weeks I'll have a new friend in the house.... more on that in a couple more weeks. But this card is a mix of copics and gamsol and prismas. I also broke out my stamp set I got for free during Salebration this year, Define Your Life. So glad I got this set.

I stamp the image on whisper white scrap piece with jet black stazon and colored her skin in with my copic E00 skin white marker... This is my most used marker when I'm coloring skin tones. I went with some lavender tones and browns on this card and even gave her shirt some glitz. I off for the night and hope you all are having a great week....

Supplies:
Stamps: Define Your Life, Rubber Romance Ally
Ink: pale plum, jet black stazon
Cardstock: almost amethyst, close to cocoa, whisper white, retired stampin up designer paper
Accessories: iridescent ice ep, versa marker, E00 copic marker, prisma color pencils, gamsol, lavender grosgrain ribbon

I'm a big fan of the Divas from Rubber Romance. You did a great job with her. I like how you colored her and I like the lavender around her, really draws your attention to the image.

Hi there my former DDSS! I love how you colored this image- great job. Thanks for listing the copic color of the skin because I am on the lookout for a skin tone marker now so it was nice to see and know the color you used for her.
