Happy Stampin...

Yup I did some happy stampin yesterday with two of my friends... They asked me to come over and show them some tricks. We did three cards but today I'll share 2 of them today and the last one on tomorrow.

Well for our first card they had liked my Circle card I did a few weeks ago so I decided to break out the coluzzle again and created this little cutie...

Isn't it so cute... I watercolored my image with my poor neglected watercolor crayons and my aquapainter. And for some reason the color combo was just crying out to me the night I put this together. Cameo coral and Garden Green. I love my cuttlebug folder swiss dots too.

But you know something the five petal punch was calling out to me and I had to make it into a beautiful embellishment for this card.... I took and scored each petal using my scorpal toward the middle of the flower and pinched each petal. Then I took my crop-a-dile and punched a hole in the center and mounted a jumbo eyelet... then it wouldn't be the perfect embellishment without a little bling...

This card was so much fun to make and so cute....

Now for another card we made...

This is a 3x3 card I put together for the My favorite Things challenge over on SCS. But while I was working on it I gave them supplies to make their own 3x3 and let them choose the stamp set they wanted to put on theirs. This is a fun 3x3. I took one of my long Nesties and die cut it and then folded it in half to make my card base... they are the perfect size to make this card. I then cut out a whisper white piece and stamped my main image. I colored it with my copics and paper pieced it also.

I then decided to add some liquid applique to her boots and the mittens. This is such a cute card IRL.

I hope you have time to stamp with some friends... It is so much fun... Have a great afternoon and see you tomorrow.
