nothing stamp related..

I have a card to share but my mood has suddenly changed and I think I will be taking a slight break from the net for a while...Tonight I had to put my dog down while my kids were asleep and they will not know about it til morning...

My beautiful husky mix took a turn tonight and I had to get my friends over to watch the kids as they slept..... So that I could take her to the vet er... Needless to say she was diagnose with lymphoma... and it looked very aggressive. At first we thought the heat had gotten to her but she had not been out much today and after the xrays were took they didn't have much hope. She is now restng. I can't type too much more... I am not even sure how to break this to my DH as he won't be back for a few more days.. Thanks for listening and I hope to be back to my normal self in a few days....

It's been a few days - I hope the pain has eased. I've had to do it myself, so I know just how you feel. So very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog! Nothing hurts much more than having to part with your animals due to sickness!! I'll say a prayer for your family during this difficult time!

Aimee, Thanks for sharing about your dog. It is very sad and hard to have to lose one of your family. About two months ago I had to put down our Cocker Spaniel as she had the equivelent to breast cancer. It was very hard to put her down. Big hugs to you and your family. I know I am a little late posting but I had not been blogging lately. Take care.

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. There isn't anything much worse than having to say goodbye to a warm and fuzzy family member. I hope the kids are doing okay and that you are on your way to healing. I'm sure Issy is helping out in that regard!! Lots of hugz!!
