Playin with Inchies....

I decided to play with inchies for a bit today and ended up making use of my colored image on two cards. This became an inchie card and spotlight card.... This was fun to do.

I colored in this image completely and then cut out a 1" square. Then stamped another piece of cardstock with the same image and layered it behind my original colored image so I have a reverse spotlight. I used my copics and spica glitter pen to color my images in. The sentiment is from the retiring set Give Thanks from stampin up... I am so sad to see this set retire...

Now for the second card I used my inchie and created another surprise pop up card. I wanted my base to almost look like an aged piece of fabric. I used the Aida cloth background and serenity stamp to try and achieve this. I then sponged the edges with close to cocoa. I matted my inchie using my square nestie set.

I hope everyone is having a great Monday... I know I will latter today.

Supplies:
Stamps: Give Thanks, Lockheart fall basket stamp, Aida cloth background, serenity stamp
Ink: versamark, close to cocoa, adirondack espresso
Cardstock: stampers select white, basic black, cameo coral, wild wasbi, whisper white
Accessories: copic markers, ribbon, gold spica pen, nesties

What a great way of using the positive and negative part of the punched section. I haven't played with inchies yet but I'm getting tempted when I see all the great things people have been doing with them.
