Hello....

Hope everyone is starting out this weekend on as a fun one... I know I will be... My DH and I are going to be without kids for the day because we are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. He can't be home on Monday to celebrate so we are going out today and having a day for ourselves while my mom and dad sit here with 5 kids...

I can't wait for our day to start but last night I started an interesting card... This card is inspired by the great Zindorf on SCS. She has an awesome blog here. She is a brayer master .... Her cards are awesome..

Here is my card she inspired...

I took my brayer and played with it to create my beach and it is so pretty. I then knew my newest MFT set would work great on this beach... I colored her and the dog in with my copics and added her hat... I also had a package of gems and put a flower gem on her hat... it fit perfectly on it. I then went to the MFT Forum over on SCS and decided what better way to use this image than to try out one of the sketch Challenges... I used this one here. I took a piece of creamy caramel and stamped the shell images randomly over it with creamy caramel ink for a tone on tone look. This card is going to my DH in the next few weeks because we will be seeing less and less of each other due to his job...

Well I'm off to have a fun day hope you have a great weekend...

Supplies:
Stamps: By the Seashore
Cardstock: Basic Black, whisper white, creamy caramel, light blue bazzill
Ink: creamy caramel, cool caribbean, tempting turquoise, craft white, basic black
