Newest addition to my Housemouse stamps....

I found this cute image and the sentiment to go with it at the stamp store in Williamsburg. I love House Mouse and enjoy coloring these images. So today's card was fun and rather adventurous for me.... it is my first time trying this type of card and if you want a great tutorial to make this type check out Dawn's Stampin Studio Tutorial. She has a great video tutorial for this card.

This is a surprise pop-up card. It was fun to make and the sentiment is just perfect for this type of card..... I loved adding some bling and coloring in this fun little card. I had to improvise on my scallop frame as I've yet to add the scalloped large rectangle set of nesties to my collection.

I had to take my long rectangle scalloped nestie die and adjust it to fit my image.... It isn't perfect but it worked. I colored my mice in with my copics and sponged soft sky ink around them for the sky. I also added waterfall stickles to the drops of water and the sprinkles from the watering can. I love the way the copics blended on this image.

Now for the sentiment I used my SU markers in close to cocoa, cameo coral and old olive.... and who could resist not following through with a little bling in the middle of that flower.

This card was so much fun I hope that some of you get a chance to make one. I'm off to go help out my parents today and then maybe relax with the kids and Issy and diana. Issy is definitely keeping us on our toes here and she can find the smallest things here..... Have a great Sunday...
