This is the other card my friends wanted to learn.. They asked to see how to make a shaker card and I let them choose the stamp for the card.
They picked one of my favorite Magnolia Stamp Tilda mermaid. I love these stamps but they are so hard to get here in the states. You can find them here. I get mine from a shop in Canada called The Town Scrapper. You can email them and get on her list to get your hands on these adorable stamps using email@example.com. I find their service great.
Now back to my fun card...
I colored her in with my copics and added both some fishes, small sea horses and beads into the shaker part. This card is a gate fold card. for my frame I cut it with my oval nesties set and cuttlebug. I also ran it through a second time to emboss the frame... what an old look it gave the shaker. I decided that my background needed something so I took my shell stamps from My Favorite Things beach set... I stamped it with a tone on tone look. I also took my scissors along the edge to give it an aged look....
Well I'm off to try and get some house work done and then some stamping latter tonight... have a great afternoon.
