Thinking about the beach...

Yes today I've got the beach on my mind... and in honor of that I made a beach card.

I've been wanting to play with the sketch challenge and the color challenge from last week and finding time to do it was a job in itself.

This is the sketch design for the challenge... I used circles instead of the squares on my design. Now the color challenge for this card was to use kraft, soft sky, and basic black... I threw in alittle white for my focal image as well. These colors so remind me of the beach. So I had to grab my Lockheart beach chair stamp and use it along with a great sketch and color challenge.

If you are ever stuck on a design please head over to Splitcoaststampers.com they have awesome challenges throughout the week to keep you going. I'm off to see what the kids want to do for the rest of the afternoon... have a great day and go stamp something that makes you happy....

Another christmas card....

Yes another Christmas card I like... now I just need to narrow it down to what type I want for this year... Well I guess I need to get on with this card for now...

I think it turned out great. I used the sketch challenge from yesterday on SCS. It can be found here. Or here is the sketch...

I don't think I did too bad on this one. And I had fun making it... If you would like to know what I used to make it you can find it here. Have a great afternoon and maybe I can get sometime latter today and play some more...

Some more TK....

I decided to play with today's sketch challenge over on SCS. It can be found here. And here is the sketch picture here on my blog.

I thought it Lent itself well for one of my Thomas Kinkade images I had. You can get these at Cornish Heritage Farms. I have some of their new TK stamps coming sometime this week and I am jumping at wanting to play with the new images. Well here is my card for the sketch challenge...

And here is a closeup of the Garden Prayer Vignette... Isn't it beautiful... I colored the image with my Twinkling H2Os watercolor cakes. You can get them also from Cornish Heritage Farms. I love the hint of glimmer these twinkling h2os give a project...

I also feel that the UTEE gives the colored images an added pop. You can find all my supplies for this card here. Well I am off to Choir practice for the night have a great night and I hope to be back tomorrow with some more projects....

Tryin to come up with my...

Trying to come up with my regional swap card but still nothing has warmed to me but here is one I came up with using SCS Sketch Challenge 119.

I used also the color challenge from SCS too. Color challenge #93 to be exact. I used Rose Red, Blush blossom, Sage Shadow, and chocolate chip. I added a prima petites Cranberry flower to my Riveting sentiment. I used both Riveting and Polka Dots & Paisley stamp sets. Well off to try and see if I can get a card like I want for regionals.
