Made to order....

This card was a request by a friend of mine and I hope she enjoys them.

While my mom has been in the hospital I have been working on these during different times there. I started them on Thursday while she was in surgery and i finally finished them today. Mom is doing better she actually go to walk some yesterday and I'm going to see her some latter on today again too. Thank you all for the well wishes. She will have a long road ahead of her now but I know she will be so much better. Now back to the card design...

This card was a fun one.. My favorite thing in making cards is coloring and this one uses both my copic markers and my prismapencils. And believe me there was lots to color on this one. I colored all the bases of the flower while we sat and waited on finding out how mom was during her surgery on Thursday... what along wait. The image stamp I used is from Cornish Heritage Farms. They have a wonderful selection of stamps. (including the Thomas Kinkade stamps)

I ended up layering my flower three times and it just makes this card pop. Using my copics and prismas also made my colors so bright and cheery on this card. But I could not just stop with the copics and prismas... I had to also use my copic glitter pens to add some sparkle to these flowers. I used both my gold and clear glitter pens on this card. And then to top this card off I had to drag out my satin SU ribbon... this stuff is gorgeous and it is only around for a limited time from SU and right now you can get it buy one get one free from your SU demo....

Well I'm off I have to go to the hospital for a bit and then maybe take the kids out for some fun latter on... have a great weekend and hope you enjoy the cards...

Supplies for this card can be found here.

Oh my stars- that looks like so much work to do the flower 3 times-I bet it is just gorgeous IRL with all that dimension and sparkle. I am so glad that your Mom's surgery went well.
