My Regional Swap...

I thought I'd share my swap card I took with me to regionals on Saturday....



This was a fun card but not so fun in that it took me all the way up to the day before to get the design down to what I wanted to do. And needless to say I only got 45 of these babies completed for Saturday.

I knew what shape I wanted for my cardbase but was not sure what stamp I was going to use... Lucky for me an SU order arrived on my doorstep Friday morning and it had the perfect stamps for this card... Holiday lineup... These images are just too cute and you may see some other cards using them before this holiday season is over.

For this card I took out the line up of Santa's reindeer. I actually did not color the image in and really wanted too. But I did decide to make sure we got Rudolph's nose really bright red and gave it some added dimension with some crystal effects too. This is a very simple card but I think it turned out to be so cute...

I'm going to try and get some stamping done sometime today and have another fun card for you tomorrow. Have a great Tuesday and Veterans Day...

Alright....

Things are now getting back in order... Husband is back to working somewhat a normal schedule, kids are here and I have a little time to rave about my fun at regionals last weekend and share a few pictures of the sample boards that I got. If you went to regionals this year you got a set called Double Line Doodles. ( click on the name of the set and it will take you to Splitcoaststampers gallery of samples for this set.) We made six different make and takes at regional with this set. A 12x12 scrapbook page, a 6x6 scrapbook page, and some cards. They showed us several wow project ideas that I can't wait to try out. And I so now need to get the air tool we carry. Now to show you a few of the sample boards....







These are just a few of the many samples they had there... I have a few that I hope to try and recreate myself and I have a few stamp sets that I would never have wanted til I saw some very awesome card ideas made with them... however I have to do alittle downsizing of my stamps as soon as the retirement list comes out and we now have less than 24 hours for that list to come out.... Just think in a few more months we have a new catty to play with and I can't wait to see what new sets await us... have fun...

All Packed and stamped to go...

Yup as you can see I am all packed up and ready to go stamp. Regionals is less than two days away. Got my camera, my stampin supplies, swaps, and my planner all right here. Well now I am off to go see what else I may have to add to my bag... snacks and crystal lite drink mixes maybe?
