A case for me....

I had to case this design but now after doing this I plan on creating a Christmas card for this year... just have to go through my sets and find the perfect set for this design. I got this idea from Think Inking, I just love visiting her blog. It is called a wallet card. I used Stampin Up's Delight In Life SAB set to make this card along with the sentiment from Trees Three.

As you can see looks like an ordinary card but once you open it you will have...

It gives you four little pockets for notes, photos or even maybe a recipe card. In this wallet card I put a sentiment in the center card from trees three will have to wait and see what I decide to put in my Christmas design.

Paper used in this card was bashful blue, very vanilla, certain celery, and two medium natural ivory envelops to make the pockets. I also used poppin pastel technique with my Pebbles chalks... the card seems to sparkle too.

Gina Wrona asked about my little shaker box so hopefully here in the next few days I will be able to upload my first tutorial on making this cute little box... well off I go to try and finish my first tutorial for my blog.

oh .... love what new stamps can do...

Yes... I am having fun playing with all my new stamps I got yesterday. One set I got I was not too sure about getting but now after playing with it I love this set. It is called Trees Three from stampin up's winter mini. The card I made today makes me yearn for spring now. This weather we have been having lately has been so awful. You never know what type of clothing to wear. It is either 70 degrees or like in the 30s. I just wish it would pick a temp and stay there. Preferably on the warmer side now. Well here is a simple card put together with this stamp set....

I used the stamp set trees three. Cardstock I used on this card was sage shadow and very vanilla. I stamped the tree bases using chocolate chip. Then I took a sponge and mellow moss ink to put down a base for the tree shape. I stamped the leaves in garden green. Then since I was in a spring mood I took the flower stamp and stamped it in both rose red and pretty in pink. The pretty in pink flowers are very light and hard to see in the picture. For added effect I took my gelly roll stardust pen and rolled it over the rose red flowers. I stamped the sentiment in basic black ink.

Now how much longer til Spring.
