Another Sketch Challenge..

Yes I love all these sketch Challenges and found this one over on Beate's Blog. I liked it and had to try it. Here is my answer to the Challenge...

I actually made it into a Shaker card. And I had to play with one of my Hanna Stamps because it had been a while and I think these are so cute. I also did a little paper piecing on her coat. So many Techniques used on this one card.. and the outcome was so fun...

I of course had to color her in with my copics. And I used my
nestablities dies as well. I love using them in my cuttlebug. Well I am off for now to get some work done around here and will be back latter tonight with one more card I made yesterday... have a great Sunday...

Supplies:
Stamps: Hanna Stamps Rain Day, Stampin Up! Polka Dots and Paisley
Ink: purely pomegranate, basic black craft ink
Cardstock: basic grey, regal rose, creamy caramel, blush blossom, leftover designer paper, acetate
Accessories: nestablities, copics, grey spica glitter pen, Micheals $1 punch, brads

My last Christmas card design....

Today I played with a mix of GinaK and Hanna Stamps. I think I have found a color combo that I love for Christmas this year. I'm a blue person can't you tell.

I love most shades of blue. But this combo just calls to me every time I use it. I used soft sky, blue bayou, and tempting turquoise. I used stamps from Hanna Stamps set Tis the Season the snowflakes from this set. I like these stamps that have been released so far...

I also used my GinaK penguin stamp for my main image. I think penguins are so fun to use on a Christmas card. I colored him in using my prismacolor pencils and gamsol again. I also used my cuttlebug embossing folder spots and dots. I got most of my embossing folders from All that Scraps. This was a fun card to create and I'm sure some of these designs will be made again next year.

Thank you for visiting all my fun Christmas cards the last week and half. I hope to be back soon with some new creations. However tomorrow my mom will be having some surgery and I don't know how much free time I will have tomorrow but hope to be back by the weekend. Have a great afternoon.

Supplies for this card can be found here. I also used the Sketch Challenge over on SCS today for this card SC153.

A little of this and a little of that....

I'm back today still a little down but not out... I got some new things in the mail and a UPS delivery that I'm going to share with everyone and then the card I decided to make. I placed a small order last week with All That Scraps and of course it came today... Here's a picture of it..

I got some Basic grey 6x6 pad of Figgy paper... doesn't it look yummy... I love all the different images inside it and they are perfect for card making. Then there is the quickie glue pen. It is perfect for adding fun flock to a project or even a thin line of glitter. And last but not least is GinaK's Little penguin stamp. I love penguins and could not pass him up. Did you know that GinaK has opened up a new site and is now selling her stamps in sets... You can find it here.

I also received my free stamp set from SU... They sent it out to all active Demos as of Oct 31 as a Thank you. It is a level three hostess set for the new catty in January. I can't wait to see the new catty.

Now for my card today...

Isn't he cute. I had to play with some of my new stamps... GinaK's penguin is so much fun. Well I'm off to see if I can continue cheering myself up a bit... Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers from yesterday's post.

Having too much fun with Hanna....

I'm having a blast playing with new Hanna Stamps and some of my fiskars tools laying around here. My Fiskars scissors are great for cutting ribbon and guess what I got them for joining the fiskateers. You can join too, just go here and join. Now on to my Hanna Card....

I had to take the snowflakes and make my own background paper. But I added in the presents too. They were all stamped in soft sky, taken with teal and blue bayou ink. Then I add some striped designer paper from Fall flowers, SU designer paper, to the bottom. ( don't forget about the 4 for 3 special this month) I thought this was calling out for another bit of ribbon I found at Micheals yesterday... it matches SU soft sky perfectly.

Now for some close ups....

I had to give the tops of her boots alittle fluff. They are really soft now. I used some white fun flock to give the look of fur topped boots. I then could not resist the added temptation to put some shine on here too. I found some beautiful glitter made by martha Stewart called blue topaz... Her top is now perfect for the holiday season... And of course the bunch of mistle toe has some sparkle too. I used my glitter pen for that.

Now I'm off to go play some more... have a great afternoon.

The raindots are fun to use and I hope to get another project done here tonight. The Hanna Stamp set can be gotten here.(hey and she is offering free shipping for her stamps until her new site is up so run don't walk and get your stamps) Well I'm off to go crop and play some more have a great evening.

well ...

I put away the Papertrey Ink set and then grabbed another new one I had on hand and played with it for a bit.....

Isn't she the cutest... This stamp set is from a new company called Hanna Stamps. This set is called But I Need it... I have been playing around with an idea of how to use her and the idea hit me with a shoe, well the little shoe charm I happened to find in my little pretties collection. I also used some scraps from this afternoons card. I really like how those nestablities dies emboss an edge even once you cut. Well I need to get to cleaning around here but thought I would share this adorable little stamp with you and guess what they are releasing another cute set on Friday. As you can see I did alittle paper piercing on her dress too.

Supplies:
Stamp: But I need It from Hanna Stamps
Cardstock: some scrap designer paper, soft sky, pale plum, wateercolor paper
Ink: basic black, soft sky
Accessories: ribbon, shoe charm, corner rounder for the scalloped edge, large oval nestablities, watercolor crayons, aquapainter

A card and a gift....

Today I had to make time to stamp... I haven't played in three days and boy could I feel the stress. Well I dragged out my Thomas Kinkade stamps again and a new one too. The Kinkade Stamps can be found here at Cornish Heritage Farms. The new stamps I pulled out were my Hanna Stamps set called I need it... You can find this adorable line of stamps at Hanna Stamps!.

Now for the card I made I used one of the Long notes in Sahara Sand and knew it would fit the cardsketch over at CPS. I colored my TK image with both my twinkling H2Os and my watercolor crayons. I think this card turned out pretty well.

Here is a close up of the TK image I think the twinkling H2Os add just the right sparkle to an image with snow...

Supplies for the card:
Stamps: Stonehearth Hutch Vignette, aida cloth, warmest regards retired SU hostess set
Ink: Black Stazon, Classic black, soft sky
Cardstock: Blue bayou, watercolor paper, soft sky, sahara sand long note
Accessories: Twinkling H2Os, watercolor crayons, soft sky double stitched ribbon

For my box I decided to grab one of my Hanna Stamps and make a box of Chocolates for that "But I need it.." moments ... we all know when those moments seem to pop up ever so often...
