Happy Anniversary...

Happy 42nd Anniversary to my parents today... I finally got the perfect card for them designed.

Supplies: soft sky cardstock, very vanilla cardstock and blue bayou cardstock. Year after Year stamp set, Baroque Motifs stamp set and All Year cheer III stamp set. Silver encore ink and soft sky ink. silver embossing powder. soft sky grosgrain ribbon and soft sky organdy ribbon.

The card is 3.5x9 so it fits a legal sized envelop which I also stamped the heart from Year after Year stamp set on and embossed it. I dyed both white organdy ribbon and the grosgrain ribbon with my soft sky reinker to make the ribbon match. I was worrying over nothing it seems yesterday when I had a block on what to do for their card. Well off to get ready to go to a cookout at my grandfathers.... have a happy 4th.

Inside the card I added this saying...."Love is not a matter of counting the years,
it's a matter of making the years count." William Smith. I had to hand write it but I wish I could have printed it out with a nice font.... seems someone has used to much printer ink...... I found this quote on Two Peas in a Bucket.

NEW CATTY TIME....

It is after July 1 and it is time for Stampin Up's new catty. I love the new sets they have this year. I decide to play today with my new sets Baroque Motifs, Year after Year and holidays & Wishes.... What do you think?

I also used two of the new incolors purely pomegranate and groovy guava. This card measures 9x3 3/4. It fits a letter size envelope. I have to change it up sometimes. I also broke out my white signo gel pen. This card is made with all Stampin Up supplies. Hope everyone has a great day... I am off to play some more.

Sorry...

I have been a bad blogger as of late but finding time after chasing after the kids to stamp seems to be few and far between lately.... Not sure if any of you are ready but sometime next week I should have my hands on the new Stampin Up catty.... SCS is all abuzz with excitement since one lucky lady got her catty in the mail on Friday.

One of my sets from a previous mini will be in it too so today I took it out to play with the new incolors...

I used my doodle this stamp set, hugs and wishes set, and my new cuttlebug folder. Cardstock I used was river rock, soft sky and very vanilla. Ink I used was soft sky, wild wasabi, and basic black. I also took some stickles out to add some sparkle along with one ice circle brad.

Hope everyone is getting as excite as I am about a new catty in less than a week..... hope your have a great saturday. I am currently making some homemade ice cream for the kids... hope to get some more stampin done for latter.

SC128 and new stuff...

I decided to play with some of my preview stuff today. Splitcoaststampers had a great sketch challenge today entitled SC128. Here is the card I came up with for this challenge...

Supplies: Baroque Motifs stamp set from the stampin up preview mini, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, and Wild Wasabi from Stampin Up's new 2008 in-color line. And bling brads called ice circles from stampin up.

The new incolors are so pretty I had to play with them. And this stamp set is so beautiful.. I just love the swirls. Here is a picture of the new incolors they are so rich and yummy....

Have fun.... I hope to be back tomorrow with more stampin fun...
