CHF and Thomas Kinkade 2

I decided this card was going to go along with my pink theme for the month. Again I used one of my Thomas Kinkade stamps from Chornish Heritage Farms that can be found HERE. The stamp I used on my card is called The Garden of Prayer Vignette... I really hope to one day color these like some of my favorite stampers have been able too.

I am dedicating this card to all those who suffer from Cancer in any shape or form. There are many people in my life that have been touched by cancer some way. My dad is one and my grandfather's wife. I can name some others as well. But for the month of October I hope that some of my readers can find a way to donate some time or some money to the cancer society of America. I have placed a badge on my site that directly links to them if you would like to find out information and ways to help just click on the badge and it will take you directly to their site.

These rubber stamps are so beautiful. I hope to be back latter today because I have a special stamp set that should be coming in today's mail. I can't wait to share it with you.

This was hard...

I joined a monthly swap last month and this month we had to come up with a masculine card design.... I really had to work on this one.

Here is the closeup of one...

I used my Summer by the Sea set from Stampin up to get a masculine image. Cardstock I used was night of navy, bordering blue, and very vanilla. I also took the diamond designer paper from Stampin Up's designer set called Sentimental Journey. I stamped the image in bordering blue clasic ink. After I got the elements together I thought it was missing something but could not put my finger on it. I showed it to my aunt tonight and she suggested something like ribbon or metal. I went with two little silver brads. I distressed the very vanilla cardstock on the edges.

Like I said in my last post I really am loving my ATG gun with doing these swaps. Have a stampin good night.

Can I Just Say....

I love my ATG gun... I have two swaps to knock out this weekend an I just got done with one with no adhesive issues. No gumming up inside the adhesive cartridge and no having to stop what I am doing and fix the problem.

Guess you all want to see what I made ....

And here is a closeup of one card..

Supplies I used for these is as follows: Real Red cardstock, Basic Black cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, SposaBella stamp, red micheals ribbon to make the roses, watercolor wonder crayons blush blossom and chocolate chip, always artichoke marker, bordering blue marker, star dust stickles and xmas red stickles, warmest regards stamp, and floral background stamp. Can't see the floral background in the picture but i used tone on tone ink real red. Bella is stamped with black stazon ink.

Sposabella you can get from stamping bella... isn't she beautiful. Well I am off to go try and get my second swap done hope you all have a good night...

More Tinkerbella

I got in some of the new spring mini stamps today and a few other things. And i have an idea to combine a stamp with Tinkerbella but have yet to really get the card just right but I did get this one out tonight.

For this card I used fabriano medioevalia 5 inch cards I got from StarLitStudio. I then stamped Tinkerbella from stampingbella kinda off center but I stamped her once on the card and then again on a post-it note. I masked her to stamp the next few images from Stampin Up's new Spring Mini called Doodle This and another set called Doodle That. I used both gamsol magic and stickles to color the image in. I then took some of my Stampin Up ribbon to make a bow and hold a butterfly charm on the card. it really dose sparkle now. For the sentiment I use the Thank you from the hostess Stampin Up set Warmest Regards.

TinkerBella fun....

Well here is my second stamp I got from Stamping Bella. She is called TinkerBella... I think she is just so cute. I just had to use her twice tonight on some Thank You cards. What do you think?

To get a closer look at the cards just click on the pictures.

I used Fabrino Medioevalis cards to make these two cards. I got them from StarLitStudio. I stamped TinkerBella with Black stazon ink. Then I colored her in with prismapencils and gamsol. To add sparkle to her I used icicle stickles. Here is a closer picture of each card.

I used ribbon I had won from GinaK on her blog. It add that touch these cards needed. I used the Thank You sentiment from Stampin Up's hostess set Warmest Regards. I just love that set and I am so addicted to these little Bellas.

Challenge card for Janurary

I made this card actually last month for someone special but I like it so much I am going to use it for my Christmas card challenge card on splitcoaststampers for this month. This is such a great challenge you make ten cards a month and share with the group the one to post hers first gets a prize. It helps get your cards made up for next christmas quicker so your not making them at the last minute.

To make this card I took Stampin Up's lovely as a tree stamp and stamped it twice without reinking to give it some depth. I used whisper white cardstock, brushed silver, and brocade blue. For the sentiment I took Happy holidays from the stampin up hostess set warmest regards. To add some sparkle to the card i took my gellyroll stardust pen and outlined the trees and the words.... I really thought this turned out really cool.

I have been bitten............

Well I have cuttlebug-itis as on splitcoaststampers. I broke down and bought the swirl A2 embossing folder for the cuttlebug and used my sizzix machine to work on this card...

I so want more of these now but everywhere I have looked they are sold out of the ones I want to add to my collection.

For the card I used some of my wishrak pieces of scalloped circles and I found the stamp at Walmart last night... they had a few sets of three for only $3.97. I colored the image with my twinkling watercolor cakes... pewter, wild blueberry, and honey amber... it is so pretty in real life. I used the happy holidays stamp from Stampin up's hostess set Warmest Regards... I so do not need another tool to add to my collection but oh well.

A thank you....

Tonight I needed a thank you card for the seniors of my church. They went out of their way for my family this Christmas holiday season and I knew I had to send them a special thank you.

I used Fabriano Medioevalis paper that I had purchased from
Starlitstudio... I had also got some gelly roll sakura stardust pens from her. I used it to make the outline of angel and make the star shine.. these are such great pens... I don't know how i had never had one until now. I then colored the angel in with a new chalk set I had found on Addicted to Rubberstamps. They have a great shimmer to them.
I also used Stampin Up's hostess set warmest regards for the sentiment on the front of the card. I used the gelly roll pen to out line the sentiment after I stamped it in black... I really like this Thank you card. I have had a fun night helping my mom work on her Christmas cards for this year and sharing some techniques with her tonight. I hope you enjoy this card I was able to get done tonight... have a great night and hope to be back tomorrow to post something new again.
